Bears Den offers an ideal setting for scouts to hike the famous Appalachian Trail and experience the outdoors. And best of all, Scouts find Bears Den to be an exciting and cool place.

Scouts
Scouts can stay overnight in the primitive campground or secluded cottage and experience a safe night in the woods.
Boy Scouts find Bears Den practical for many applications. Some camp overnight while on a challenging "Roller Coaster" section hike in training for Philmont. Others stay a weekend to work on rank requirements.
Troop service work projects are available.
